Frequently Asked Questions

In most cases, pinstripes, decals and graphics are best applied on top of Paint Protection Film. This keeps the PPF as the sacrificial protective layer over the paintwork while allowing the graphics to be replaced, updated or removed without affecting the original finish. For certain bespoke projects, graphics can be incorporated beneath PPF during installation, and we’ll recommend the most appropriate approach based on your vehicle and the desired finish.

Yes. Both are fully removable when applied correctly, without damaging the paint underneath. It’s one of the main reasons people choose them over a painted stripe or permanent graphic, you get the look with none of the long-term commitment.

No, if anything it’s neutral to positive. Because both are removable and don’t touch the original paint, the car can be returned to standard before sale if you’d prefer. Most buyers won’t see either as a negative.

Yes. We can work from your own artwork, or help develop a design from scratch if you’ve got an idea but nothing finished yet. We’ll confirm sizing and placement before cutting anything.

With proper care, both hold up well for years. UV exposure, aggressive washing or close-range pressure washing can shorten lifespan slightly, but under normal conditions they’re a durable, long-term finish rather than a short-term sticker.

No. A wrap covers a full panel or the entire car. Decals are targeted graphics, stripes, badges or custom designs applied to specific areas.

Definitely. A lot of customers do both together, a pinstripe to define the lines and a decal for the bolder statement. We can talk through what works best for your car when you get in touch.
